ABRAHAM & THAKORE’s Fall/Winter Home collection on Pret-Amoda.com is inspired by the every day iconography of Indian street life interpreted through the inventive use of traditional block printing and embroidery techniques. The rickshaw; a storm lantern; a parrot on a leafy branch provide both mood and a motif in a celebration of India.
Their home textiles have been specially crafted to lend a modern voice to contemporary urban homes of London, Paris or New Delhi – striking the ideal balance between fashion and lifestyle!
This Indian design label was established by David Abraham and Rakesh Thakore, graduates of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Abraham & Thakore launched their first collection of loungewear and accessories commercially in 1992 in London at the Conran Shop. This was followed in the next couple of years by the launch of “Abraham & Thakore” fashion collection and a collection for home textiles.
